Victor Payares
Victor Payares uses layers of various paint languages that combine the haptic physicality of mark making together with archeology, sand, and palimpsest for his artistic practice. Architecture, meteorology, and spatial analysis are reappearing references in his work in which he often materializes recollections of his childhood in Cuba into new arrangements and convictions.

HANNAH HALLERMANN (HAHA)

Hannah now questions "ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH YOUR DECISION?", which seems to be at the center of her artistic practice. She makes in fact each (edition) piece unique, by shooting the blue butchers curtain with her bow and arrow multiple times. Aiming at "YOU" and "SATISFIED" as the primal target, human error or precision remain as the final mark.

Are you satisfied with your decision?,

MIRIAM KONGSTAD

Miriam Kongstad’s piece We Say This Rose Is Beautiful But When This Rose Is Destroyed This Rose Is Ugly Or This Rose Is Clumsy We Say forms a delirious network of emojis, frozen bodies and cowboy aesthetics, while a refrain of violence and anger, sedated by sex appeal, PR strategies, entertainment, and two-dimensional smiles penetrate the piece. The title of the work, engraved into the piece itself, is borrowed from a poem for one of Kongstad’s performances, offering an example of how she uses poems, rhymes and text to offset and augment the visual worlds she creates in her works.
